Senior Accountant

Our client is a growing multinational company currently expanding its operations in the Romanian market. In order to meet their increasing needs, the Company is seeking a new team member for their Finance Department.

Candidate profile

· University degree with a major in accounting or finance
· Professional work experience in a multi-national reporting environment is a plus
· English skills at least at an intermediary level (with good potential for improvement)
· Experience with integrated financial & accounting controlling software
· Excellent communication capacities, good team player
· Analytical skills
· Energetic, able to meet tight deadlines

Role

· Draft the monthly financial and operational reporting
· Monitor and co-ordinate preparation of monthly accounts in compliance with both Company and statutory reporting requirements
· Support the finance team with regard to financial accounting procedures
· Ensure all accounting records are in compliance with Romanian tax regulation
· Manage the monthly tax and fiscal reporting to local authorities
· Continually improve critical time-sensitive processes (transaction processing, periodic reporting, etc), propose improvements in bookkeeping processes
· Provide senior management with activity reports on a weekly and monthly basis as regards documents and cash controls
