The Paxar Group is currently starting up operations in Romania. Within the start – up team a very important role will be played by the newly created position of

Financial Controller

The Finance Controller will report to the General Manager of Paxar Romania and will work closely with the European Vice President of Finance in London. He will be responsible for all the Finance and Administrative issues and will supervise the preparation and review of financial reports and accounting records, including updating the general ledger and preparing journal entries.
Determines working procedures, including developing special financial reports and analyses and evaluating work performance on an annual basis.

Requirements:

  • Finance background is a must
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years of experience with the international accounting standard US GAAP would be ideal.
  • Strong background in budgeting, capital improvements and supervision over a cash flow and investments system
  • Profound understanding of Romanian bureaucratic environment is a must.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Strong entrepreneurial qualities.
  • Independent and proactive character.
  • The position will be placed in Craiova and might require extensive travelling (might overlook the issues related to the Bulgarian market as well).
