Finance Director

Our client is a market leader in the construction materials industry, having well established production and trading activities. We are now looking for a highly experienced, well balanced and committed professional to fulfil the function of: Finance Director

Your responsibilities will be:

§ implement financial, accounting and taxation policies and ensure compliance;
§ ensure financial accounts meet audit, statutory and investor requirements;
§ review management financial reports, monitor and forecast cash-flow;
§ ensure the provision of professional budgeting, financial, approval and cost control processes;
§ support the preparation of strategic and operational sales, cost & contribution budgets, help formulate business policies and strategies for the company.

The ideal candidate will have:

§ University degree in Economics or postgraduate related studies (MBA, ACCA);
§ relevant financial management experience (preferably in a production or sales related environment);
§ detailed knowledge of IAS, Romanian accounting practices and tax legislation;
§ clear understanding of the commercial and production processes;
§ strong personality, open attitude and structured thinking;§ good analytical and planning abilities;
§ excellent English language and experience of using a computer based financial system.
